An impromptu visit to the dog park in Rouse Hill turned in to a great little family photography session with our friends The Hennings. After spending half an hour or so watching our Greyhound Boris (yes his name is Boris) mark his territory on every square inch of the dog park, and then spend about 5 minutes of running around before he was ready for a lie down… we then moved over to the kids area to watch the kids do their thing, and well… after all that ‘running’ Boris did, he needed his 3hr rest. 

At first they were all over the play equipment, up and down the slides and then it was about finding ants and spiders in the trees… so really kid safe games. Our kids have always gotten along really well with Andre and Jara’s girls… which is lucky, because we all know how hard it is to hang out with friends when your kids don’t get along with theirs, but it’s not the case in this situation. Jara and Andre are great friends, and our kids are even better friends.

Now Claudia and Alysse couldn’t be more different to each other. Claudia is the boisterous one jumping in front of the camera every chance she got, and Alysse is a little more reserved, but they are still best mates… and on camera, wow how cute are they! 

I have to say when we finished, on my way home I felt like I didn’t really get the great shots I was hoping for. Then once I opened them up on the computer at home I was pleasantly surprised, and I think maybe some of my all time faves may be in here. Check out some of the highlights below.
